Our final installment in the webinar series on document automations solutions for insurance covered the topic of cyber security. Phil Robinson, discussed security issues when the content is within the enterprise, and when it travels for collaboration, as well as thoughts on cyber security coverage and protection.
The demo showed how our solutions make collaboration during the underwriting process simple and secure. Emails, including the attachments, are automatically encrypted so only intended recipients can view the data. This automated security solution works without change to user behavior or business process.
We then discussed the size and scope of cyber security exposure for insurance organizations who provide coverage—from clean-up costs and IP theft, to corporate liability. We closed with a look at how the underwriting of cyber security policies may evolve with requirements for tools like Covertix SmartCipher™ before coverage is provided.
